Celebrate Spring: Plant Press Demo

We are approaching the time for little leaves. If you have a special tree, late March is the time to begin watching it and collecting multiple leaves for a custom metalledwith project.

Curious about leaf pressing? What better way to celebrate the coming of Spring than to begin looking for those little leaves. Join metalledwith as Richelle Dourte explains the how-tos of basic leaf pressing and plant preservation. She will be describing her plant presses and demonstrating her botanical metalwork jewelry, which uses these little leaves, at History on High on March 21, 2015 from 11-1:30. See the tiny leaf specimens and learn how to look for them during this time of year.
