New Chain maille Make & Take Class at the Studio
Do you find that you’re missing the classes at the metalledwith studio? Each experience has been such a fun and relaxed time to learn how to create something new and go home with a wearable piece of art that you yourself created. The make & take classes are especially accessible and a great place to become introduced to, or revisit, a particular technique. While Richelle isn’t yet able to return to teaching, she’s lucky enough to have a very talented friend who is willing to bring her craft to the studio for this special event.
Leslie Halaby-Moore is the artist and owner behind L Chain Maille. Also located in Boiling Springs, Leslie is a diligent and inspired artist who also gives of her time volunteering for our local artist group, the Yellow Breeches Chapter of the PA Guild of Craftsmen.
Leslie will be offering a Celtic Star Weave Earring Make & Take Class at the metalledwith studio on May 3, 2018 from 6-8PM. For $40, each student will get 2 kits with aluminum rings and a selection of enamel coated colored copper rings of their choice plus ear wires for this price. Sterling silver will be an optional upgrade. Learn this chain mail weave from an expert and turn stiff metal rings into a fluid and flexible design.
